Does your resume look like you are a job hopper?

Does your resume look like you are a job hopper? Changing jobs every year.
For full-time employee positions hiring managers want to see stability. Do
this.

Hiring managers are busy and get many resumes. They scan resumes to see if
you have the skills they need and look at your work history to make sure you
are not a job hopper.

For full-time employee positions, they are not looking to hire someone who
will be gone in a year or less. If your work history shows you are changing
jobs every year, they will assume you will be with them, for less than a year
and they are on to the next resume.

Do this for contract positions
Before your title put Contract Title (e.g. Contract SD Functional Analysts)
so they know this was a contact position and that is why it was short term

Do this if you have been working for a consulting company
Indicate the consulting company’s name and dates you have been working for
them.
E.g.
Accenture:                                     5/20 - Present
Client:  Pepsi   SAP MM Functional Analysts    2/22 – Present
Project details

Client:  Amazon   SAP MM Functional Lead       5/20 – 1/22
Project details

Do this for positions where you left because the company was not doing well.
Indicate you left because the company had already had layoffs or you were
laid off.
Excellent reference available from my direct supervisor

Do this if you have been a long-time contractor
Managers will also be concerned if you have been a long-time contractor, and
if you are just taking this job until a long-term high-paying contract comes
up. If you do this the manager will be mad at the recruiter for referring you
and the recruiter won't be paid for their work, and the recruiter may lose
their client, costing the recruiters family tens of thousands of dollars
every year.

Why want a full-time employee position
I have gained a lot of experience contracting and I am not ready to settle
down and help a company with its bottom line. If you have been required to
travel 80% - 100%, you can mention you want to travel less so you can spend
more time with your family.

For full-time employee jobs managers want someone who wants to grow with the
company and will be with the company for years.

Do this for gaps in the resume. Explain why.
