Putting things on your resume you didn’t do or know
SAP FICO Hiring Manager said after the interview
* He had things on his resume that he said he did not do, so not sure how much I trust what he had on his resume versus what he really did.
* A lot of WE statements versus I statements.
* I really struggled to get him to get to give a straight answer and that usually is a bad sign especially when I ask for certain tcodes for config and he cannot give me a good answer.
* He said he did the configuration on his recent job, but when I asked about it, he said he did not.
* He could not even talk about the technical tcodes
I am going to pass, as I am not comfortable with the whole We answers and him having a lockbox on his resume several times and he did not know anything about it.
Recruiters don’t want to represent anyone who makes them look bad.
You will be asked questions about what you say you do and know, so you better be able to give a good clear answer.
What is the point of lying to get an interview when one interview is all you will get? No job offer.
Hiring Managers always appreciate when you say what you know and don’t know.
Remove now from your resume anything you didn’t do. Things someone else in the group did it.
